Henri Cuvelier founded a wine trading company in Haubourdin, Northern France.
1903
The Cuvelier family purchased Château Le Crock, Cru Bourgeois from Saint-Estèphe, nestled between Château Cos d’Estournel and Château Montrose.
1920
The family acquired Château Léoville Poyferré (Deuxième Cru Classé in Saint-Julien) and Château Moulin Riche, at the heart of the Médoc region.
1946
Max Cuvelier founded a trading company in Bordeaux, in order to be closer to the vineyards and to facilitate purchasing and distribution.
1979
Didier Cuvelier took over the management of the two family Estates.
1985
Olivier Cuvelier took over management of the trading company in Bordeaux.
1998
Bertrand Cuvelier crossed the Atlantic to work in the Clos de Los Siete group in Argentina, with Michel Rolland.
2005
Bertrand and Jean-Guy Cuvelier founded a bodega in Argentina and the “Cuvelier Los Andes” brand was born. The journey headed in a new direction.
2016
Olivier Cuvelier was elected as president of the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois for the Médoc region, a renowned institute of Bordeaux heritage.
2018
Sara Lecompte-Cuvelier took over the management of the family estates in the Medoc.
